This is my birthday present from my SP:) She is soooo good at spoiling me!! 2 crochet booklets, a cotton bag, a cotton scarf in the most beautiful yarn, a bath pouf with soap, stitch markers and a adorable card. THANK YOU SP:) Your the BEST!!!

This has to be one of my favorite doilies of all time. I've made 3 for gifts and one for myself. Its an irish crochet rose pattern from an old time crochet magazine. The flower is so brilliantly created. Love it!

90% completed! Finally. Have to make a few joining motifs and connect it all. Then comes the fun of sewing in the thread ends. Maybe this one wont bleed when I block it. I really enjoy making this doily though.

Wonderful stitchmarkers I received today from Brandee! I had taken my 79 Yr old grammie to the Dr, and stopped by the house before taking her home. She loved these markers so much I let her pick 2 to take home to use in her own crochet projects. Thank you so much Brandee for making both of our days!

Isn't nature grand? There were so many butterflies out today. I have a zoom feature on my camera I had never used. hubby helped me figure it out. I promise I really took this pic. To me it is awesome. It was the best in the series. Dunno what type of butterfly that is. But it is beautiful.

Am I a glutton for punishment or what? After the last tramatic doily, Why am I starting another? ok ok ok . My grandmother wanted the red rambler rose doily. So i have decided to attempt 1 possibly 2 more before Christmas. I'm doing this one in DMC butter, white, and pale green.I hope it turns out well. I'm thinking about making another with baby blue roses and lace, too. Also, I sent a letter to Coats & Clark with a sample of threads that had bled, and a pic of the doily. I am hoping to get a response from them. I'll keep ya posted!

Also, I made stitch markers with the beads I had remaining form the swap. I just have to buy the hooks for them.. I really enjoy making them, too!

Mini Snowflakes that will adorn Christmas presents this year. I'm going to sew beads on them and have some ribbons to tie with. I'm going to make larger ones for my tree and for family and friends.

This is our Max. What could be better on a hot Sunday afternoon than eating a slice of cold watermelon? I guess Max wanted in on the action. I've never seen a cat really eat watermelon. I guess theres a first time for everything.

Well I completed the rambler roase doily as best i could. One side wouldnt bleed, so I have until Christmas to figure out how to make it blend in. If you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them. Overall, I guess this one turned out ok.

ACK! Its been awhile since i made a MASSIVE doily. Took around 300 pins to block it too. I dampened it and lightly sprayed with starch, and the burgandy thread has bled onto the white thread! I could kick myself. I'm trying to make it bleed around the edges of all of the motifs to even it out. this was intended to be a christmas present. I want to set fire to it right now though.. :(

I finally finished my stitch markers for our swap! This was the first time I've ever made them. I really enjoyed making them too. I think they could get addicting :)
