Ornaments:2

I am in LOVE with the octophrost. Have I mentioned that? I made another one last night, and used christmas color sequins as his suckers. Adorable.

Ornaments:1

I found this booklet on eBay a few weeks ago. I've made 2 ornaments so far. I really like how they are turning out, too. I want to make at least a dozen for my tree this year!

Meet my Squishy!

Hey ya'll! I wanted to share my latest FO. I call him squishy and he shall be mine. He's an octophrost. I found him on this blog, and I HIGHLY recommend you check it out. Futuregirl has some wicked creativity, and mad sewing skills!

This little dude was so cute, too! She calls him the"Santa of the Sea" . Well, he popped out and wanted to be mine. And, who could resist those big, bulging eyes. I sure couldn't say no. You can read more about them here and here . You can also purchase the pdf pattern online here. I loved the christmas tree decorated with 99 of these little octophrost's, too. Can you imagine a 74 yr old grammie making them for all her grandkids and great grand kids. What an awesome accomplishment! Join me, make your own octopus stuffie and share with the flickr group

Completed project: Daisy #6

Daisy , by Yoko Suzuki from Laceworks. I've had this pattern book for ages, but never made a pattern. I present #6 Daisy made with some awesome threads "Lisbeth" size 20. I ordered from here. Its the first time I've tried these threads and I must say they are very nice to work with! This is also a present. Maybe I'll make me another doily, after the holidays..... Size is 18"diameter, made with a size 10 hook.

Completed project: very best circle doily

this project comes from Celt's crochet. I made the smaller version. The pattern can be found here. I added alittle "bling" to the edges, and made the picots in the center of the edging. It was really easy. I used size 8 valdani thread in blue and size 10 white thread and size 10 hook. Measures 14 " diameter. Christmas present. Pics are clickable.

Completed Project: Tulip Doily

This comes from an old pattern booklet my grandmother gave me. I've made it one time before, when I was first learning to crochet. It will be a Christmas present. Measures 20" diameter. Made with size 10 thread and size 8 hook. I present "the Tulip doily"

Completed project: Blue Ribbon Doily

OMG. This doily has been a WIP for almost a year. I started it last August. I've worked off and on again, on it since then. I finally decided to get the lead out of my butt and finish it. It measures 20 inches across. Made with Coats size 20 Opera thread in lilac and deep purple, size 10 hook. I'll take applause, as I am proud this thing is finally D O N E !!!!
